I have an existing charge/bill; how do I perform the allocation with an existing incoming payment?

Step 1:

Navigate to [Finance] > [Cash Movements] > [Collections] TAB in the left-hand menu, and click [Add New Collection Record].

Step 2:

Locate your new cash movement record and click [Allocate Funds]. A pop-up window will appear. Select the corresponding bill and enter the amount required for clearing the balance (or settlement), then click [Confirm] to save and complete the allocation/association.
