What notification will a new tenant receive after a reservation is created?
When you create a reservation for a prospective tenant using an email address that is not already in your system, our platform automatically initiates an onboarding process to welcome them by default.
This guide explains the notification a new tenant will receive and the steps they are guided through to activate their account.
Automatic Welcome Email
Immediately after you save a reservation for a new tenant, the system sends them an automated welcome email. This email serves as their official invitation to join the ForentX platform.
Account Activation Process
The welcome email contains a unique and secure link that directs the tenant to a page where they can set a password for their new account.
- Set Password: The tenant clicks the link in the email.
- Complete Setup: They create and confirm their password.
- Account Activated: Once the password is set, their account becomes Active.
Accessing the Tenant Portal
After activation, the tenant is encouraged to download the ForentX mobile app. With their new credentials, they can log in to:
- View reservation details and, eventually, information.
- Track charges and payments.
- Utilize other features for a seamless online collaboration experience.
This automated process ensures that new tenants are quickly and efficiently connected to your digital ecosystem, paving the way for a smooth transition into their tenancy.
